If you like warm, connected, deeply knowledgeable and hard working people representing you, I'd definitely recommend going with Steve and Debbie. You won't regret it. We were referred to Steve and Debbie through a trusted family friend who is also a real estate agent after not getting what we needed out of the first real estate agent we worked with. Steve and Debbie were from the first second we met them a warm, thoughtful and comforting presence in what can be a pretty harrowing process. They met us at every open house we went to, trying to understand the things we liked and didn't like in order to best help guide our search. For the place we eventually purchased Steve and Debbie met us multiple times at each open house, knowing that we really liked the place and worked their tails off to figure out how much interest there was, ensure they had a good rapport with the seller's agent and help us think through any pros and cons for the place. The San Francisco real estate market definitely has a who-you-know component to it, and Steve and Debbie know absolutely everyone. I'm sure they can't claim it but I have no doubt that they were a big part of the reason that we eventually were able to purchase the house we fell in love with. My family has lived in San Francisco for 5 generations now, and it's fun having conversations with Steve about all of the deep local knowledge he has, he has deep roots in the community. It's obvious Steve and Debbie Dells are seasoned real estate agents. They stayed calm and collected through the sale of our 4-plex even when the process threw us a few curve balls. They gave us sound advice how to communicate with our tenants during the sales process. Every step of the way, they helped us with all the little details...like advising us with the disclosures, when and how to notify the tenants and how to deal with the neighbors. And, Debbie did a great job virtually staging the apartments which saved us lots of money. The Dells' were spot on in regard to the value of the property. When we received several offers, the Dells' knew exactly what strategy to take for the best possible outcome. From beginning to end, the process couldn't have gone any smoother. Steve and Debbie provided a great personal touch throughout our engagement, which was challenged due to circumstances out of their control created by the pandemic. Their key business contacts included a top-of-the-line staging professional, an excellent photographer/videographer, as well as a handyman who provided last-minute repairs for damages left by the last property occupant at a very reasonable price. The moderate updating of the unit that they recommended was a net positive and likely beneficial in achieving our sales price, and Debbie's eye for fixtures and flooring served the unit well. Contracts and disclosures were a snap with Docusign. Most of all, Steve and Debbie maintained constant communication with us throughout and helped us navigate through unprecedented times that affected our timing and the marketing of our unit. I really felt like Steve and Debbie had our best interests in mind throughout the process, which really built a sense of trust between us.
